Regional Search and Rescue Asset
🚨 Help Us Launch a Life-Saving Resource for Central Texas 🚨
Flood Response Fundraiser – SAR Boat & Equipment Acquisition
The Law Enforcement Support Service of Texas (LESSTX) is launching an urgent fundraising campaign to acquire a Search and Rescue (SAR) boat and essential flood response equipment to assist local agencies during flooding and disaster events.
This equipment will be based in Milam County and made immediately available to Milam County, surrounding counties, and regional partners during high water rescues, evacuations, and recovery operations. Recent flooding across Central Texas has made it clear—the need is real, and the time to act is now.
Your donation will directly support:
✅ A flood-capable SAR boat and trailer
✅ Personal protective gear (PFDs, helmets, dry suits)
✅ Communications and lighting equipment
✅ Maintenance and rapid deployment readiness
We’re building a shared regional asset— for an agency in need when disaster strikes.
